1. In collaboration with United Nations Industrial
Development Organization (UNIDO) and Small & Medium
Enterprise Development Authority (SMEDA), Pakistan
Readymade Garments Technical Training Institute,
Lahore has developed a business plan for the up
gradation of facilities and courses being offered.
Further, establishment of a Textile Testing
Laboratory is also under consideration.
2. In Collaboration with Japan International
Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Small & Medium
Enterprise Development Authority (SMEDA), Pakistan
Readymade Garments Technical Training Institute has
arranged for training of trainers program for the
institute as well as for the industry. Under this
program a team of Japanese experts are conducting
training workshops at PRGTTI-Lahore-Karachi and also
visiting the apparel industry (both Woven and Knits)
for recommendations to upgrade the production
processes and techniques.
3. PRGTTI-Lahore has entered a strategic alliance
and signed an MOU with National Productivity
Organization (NPO) and collaborated with Pakistan
National Accreditation Council (PNAC) Ministry of
Science & Technology (MoST) to promote research
oriented training courses / workshops / seminars for
the industry.
4. PRGTTI-Lahore is also in collaboration with the
Association of Overseas Technical Scholarship (AOTS),
Almurtaza Machinery Company Pvt. Ltd. and Abbas
Apparel Machinery Company Pvt. Ltd. for the
technical workshops / Seminars etc.
